I'm wanting to pull the trigger but can someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm likely not going to be able to use these wheels if the next m5 is all new in 3 years (end of my lease). Don't they usually change the bolt pattern or something?

Having a hard time justifying $3k on a set for only 3 years.

Please feel free to talk me into it!
Bolt Pattern changed from F10 to F90 M5 but no guarantee that will happen with the next gen.

Either way, you can sell them to existing F90 owners ....

I migrated to current M5C in Sept 18' and parted out entire F10 M5 including wheels in a very short period of time.

Did the same when I moved from 13' M5 to 15' LCI and sold everything quickly there as well.

Priced right you should be able to sell them.
Thanks for the input.

Really liking this wheel. My quote is good til Monday so have the weekend to sleep on it and get more bad influences.
I had the same thought for spending 9k for 3 years on the hre or bbs, but you can easily sell them, but I think I'll get another F90 for sure, probably 2022 model or 2023, and I'm sure it'll be the same bolt pattern. Does this wheel come in 21x10 and 11? In black?
No 21", same size as the other OEM 20" for the F90.
That's a bummer... thank you

Sup man. Do you know if these come in 21s and black?

I found the 763M wheels that look awesome in black but 20s. https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...kgUGFnZQ%3D%3D
Im buying the 863M to paint them in gloss black. Roads are too bad over here so 21" is a no for me.
I don't think going from a 20 to 21 will really change the ride that much... I've talked to a lot of people that went from a 20 to 21 and changed profile from 35 to 30, and added springs and said they barely noticed. With the m550i springs and lighter forged wheels like P101 or FIR, I don't think it would be that bad but ohhhh does it look better.

Or have them painted completely crazy like they showed in "the drop" video from m town. Pretty sure that's the 863m in the last shot.
Can you share the link?

I don't think that's the 863M, i think that's the same design but in the new M3/M4 fitment. Not sure what it's called but it's effectively the same style of wheel but in different size/offset.

Bit the bullet and purchased the 863m wheels.

Won't see it for a month as it's coming from Germany and there's a bit of a backlog.

Now will need to decide which season tires goes on them. Was initially thinking to put my winters on them but kinda want them for summer. Really can't decided. The other wheels are the comp wheels.

Stunning! I've thought the 8 series had the best wheel designs, never thought about if they'd fit or how they would look on an M5, but wow! Love it. Whats retail on those?

No I ordered just rims and will be moving my original tires and tpms over. As my car only has 400 miles currently.

Are you in the US and if so what did you pay for the set?

I am trying to decide between the 789m y-spoke and 863m on a Donnington Grey F90. The 863 are more unique but the 789 has black color which works with the black trim on the competition. It is a hard choice. Does anyone have good Pictionary Donnington with 863 wheels.

I can't find these in that gold color. I'm guessing that he got a custom finish.

Anyone know the weight of these 863 wheels compared to the stock comp 789 wheels?

Found my own answer. From another post: (courtesy of @boiler up!)

I received my set of 863m today and weighed the bare wheels.

20x9.5" Front - 27.8 lbs
20x10.5" Rear - 29.2 lbs
