Fantasizing about spring setup

Im most liekly goign to keep my stock 17 inch wheels for my snow tires and then get a set of larger wheels (19 or 20) for my setup during other seasons. Seeing as run flats are a giant nono for these size tires, what are the options for repair if i get a flat with no spair? There is that stuff you pour in the air valve or whatever but how will that help with a flat tire... i mean it doesnt fill it... are there like pressurized canisters of air you can buy or soemthing to fill back on site like with bike tires??? Maybe all this sounds dumb, but i dont wanna get caught with my pants down 50 miles away from anywhere.

AFAIK, there is a BMW "tire repair kit" like what was available for e46 M3. It consisted of some tire sealant in a pressurized can. Of course, you could buy a similar sealant elsewhere but this can only likely be used for simple punctures like from a nail. For significant tire damage, like to the side wall, the tire is done. You'd have to mount a spare in order to stay mobile.

But you raised a good question because I wonder if folks here running 19" (or larger) non-runflat tires are carrying spares.

Runflat or otherwise, I'd guess that tire availability (from franchise to mom-and-pop stores) may not be so great for large low profile tires. But i could be wrong.
