Impressed with OEM stock performance

Put the Dragy in my 2020 Comp and did an impromptu run on on the side of the road. Car is bone stock down to the tires. Not bad!

Have any others with bone stock cars run similar times? I'm sure someone has run a 10.7 stock?

they are pretty nuts stock.

I have a non comp (did not want the harder suspension) Only done one launch 0-60 3.30 draggy did not record 1/4 mile for some reason. I am sure I can get to 3.2x very impressed.

In all honesty, I have ZERO interest in performance mods for the F90. Stock this thing has more than I need.

Yea I bet I can get a 2.9 0-60....pretty insane. Going to wait until the weather cools into the upper 60's lower 70's and try it again. I'd like a 2.9 0-60 and a 10.7 quarter mile.

fast cars.

Mine short shifted into 2nd gear. Searching the net it seems a common issue on the non comp car, something to do with a torque limiter I think. Will play some more and see.

I had that only happen to mine once.
Seems like it lost traction and then short shift.
I also recall holding the launch a little longer then I normally would have that time.

Does the slope have any effect on the times?

I intend doing more testing when home (I work away) I reckon if it revved out the time would improve greatly. Not that it makes much difference as will prob never launch it anyway just wanted to see what it could do.

Yea for sure.....Dragy only allows up to a maximum of -1% over the entire distance of the run. Back in the day, when we used to use the VBOX, we (6speedonline.com) had an unofficial -3% max slope for a run to count. I don't know if there is a max uphill slope but I would be surprised if anyone is trying to set records/post numbers going uphill.

Yes, the OEM performance is so good and no need to upgrade. I will be getting the carbon fiber gas cap. No joke, it looks great.

Damn I didn't realize that....I know the unsprung weight makes a big diff but 0.2-0.3 seconds is huge.

houstonT These things are nuts in stock form and with the police never too far away the thought of even power when it could already lose me my license with too long a flex on my right foot so tuning isn’t something I’m even remotely thinking about.

P.S. I see you have the other car I was considering before I got the M5 Comp, what’s your thoughts on the RSQ8?

You must be joking. Carbon ceramics won't drop 2-3 tenths off of a 1/4 mile time.

Easily. Check the times of others. One bone stock ran 10.68. CCB help immensely with rotational mass. It's only physics lol ...

42lbs of rotating mass is big, plus combined with forged wheels, talking abother 22lbs, so 64 total. Why people opt for the ugly black cast wheels is beyond my comprehension.
