🚨The Fun Police have arrived on the scene.🚨

Thank goodness you're not a German legislator! Why do people like yourself think they have a right to regulate what everyone else is doing? The guy doing the video has hundreds of 200mph runs under his belt and is always very cautious and courteous.

Take a chill pill and go lay down somewhere if the video is too much for your nerves to handle.

Cool your jets.

It is just an opinion and don't take it as a personal affront to your liberties.

I sincerely hope no person or animal ever runs in front of him at those speeds.

The laws of physics are pretty unforgiving even if you have many "200MPH runs under his belt".

That's what tracks are for.

Agreed. When I was in Germany I did a 6th to 5th drop on my F80, when there was a light rain. Went from 100-145 and could feel the rears slipping the whole way at 3/4 throttle. Not fun.

The M5 has AWD tho. It's definitely more stable. Don't ask me how I know 😅👌✅

I did almost 300 kmh in an R8 V10 Plus on the autobahn. It was scary because at about 240 kmh you could start to feel the car lifting from the road. I didn't fully trust the car. I was like... OK I gonna slow down now. 😂

Yep, AWD, longer and wider wheelbase, and more weight. The 5 is more planted in general. Often saw RS6 Avantes ripping down the autobahn at 150+ wet or dry with no problem. I rented a 535d for a trip to Amsterdam and it rained nearly the whole way back to Germany but felt completely in control at speeds over 100. I imagine the SLS AMG that blew my doors off felt at least as stable as that M5.

Simple coding ? As I know they did make it purposely to be difficult to delimit. Have you had your done ?

Well simple coding for BMW official service...no,i did not..i think 275km/h on speedometer is enough...or its not?
There is one test i watched few days ago, about X6 40i...where journalist talk about speed limit at 250 km/h...and ironically state "it so low!"...but its sound much better in original..he stated :" Malo li je😊!" For those who speak Ex Yugo languages.

As a Hungarian we go and we use to go each year to Croatia (except this one )... Last year I drove down from UK to Croatia

You do have excellent motorways in your country , sometimes with no traffic at all , and really this car reaches 250 km/h in 15-20 seconds so why not ? But I assume your one as a european model is limited to 250 (259 km/h) on clock) , is not it ?

Also driving through Germany was proper fun!

Where do you live in Croatia ??

This was fun to watch but scary as hell. Not because you think the car will lose control but because of other drivers on the road.

Holy crap!! Guess his wheel barrel to carry balls that big must be in the trunk. No way I would attempt that kind of a run in the rain.

Hello,

Yes thats true...we have amazing highways...where you can "go to autobahn for a autobahn blast", i was dying to write this quote from Max from Autotop NL..

Im from Osijek (Essek),but i buy all mu cars in Pecs,Hungary...there is amazing dealer Schneider Bmw..i will recommend to everyone.

As I remember from last summer i step on gas and limit was at 275km...but that was such electric disconnect..you can feel that beast can go easily over 300 km/h..

Loved it - every bit of it. Fill her up and go again!

Pretty much affirms that I need to code out my limiter. That said the jump from 155 to 185mph looks significant.

This is exactly what the M5 is designed for. bombing down the autobahn in its homeland. Weather looks to be drizzling if anything. No one high beams, blows their horn, or displays the bird, because it’s respected and expected. ///M Power.
