Glove Box Removal

Hi all

need to remove my glove box.

has anyone done this before?

I managed to take this picture from a G30 forum, and the screw locations seem identical. However when i tried there is still not movement in the glove box.

I need to remove it to try and find a suitable place to install my MMI for android auto.

dont need to remove the glovebox. plenty of room under the carpet or to the right side footwell.

there is also room on the driver side footwell. thats where the main box for my remote starter fit
