Laser Shifters Install

I'm going to install the ZW5 laser shifters from Escort, but I need to get power from the engine bay. The connectors come with the loops for the battery, but the battery is in the trunk. Does anyone know where I can get direct + / - ?
Thanks in advance!

Look for the battery junction box under the hood towards the rear side of the passenger side strut tower.

It’s a small red box with a “+” on it along the fire wall. Passenger side as he said.

Why escort? They are not even close to the best. If it’s not too late, I would reconsider installing ALP. They are the best.

Also, there are professional installers that know the best way to install both brands in your $120,000+ car. That also, might be worth looking into.

Working (key word working) laser jammers against LiDAR is a smart option if you plan on driving aggressively in any car. That combined with high end, Radar Detectors and Waze can prevent you from giving more of your hard earned money to government and insurance companies.

ALP is on my list to add eventually. Waze and Valentine or another high end detector are a pretty good combination. Some states use laser more than others.

Escort laser shifters don’t work. At all.

Return it and get ALP. Have it professionally installed.

Otherwise save your money.

Couldn't agree more. I have ALP on my X3MC, F95 X5MC, and S6.
