Did the update today and can confirm I lost my M button settings and my seat memory setting.
I also had to recode bimmercode. All in all not a huge deal but I don’t see any difference in anything yet my car sounds the same and feels the same which is what I expected. I do have one little issue I can’t remember how to do but my auto off start/stop button isn’t staying off when I hit it and then when I get back in for the next drive I have to hit it again. Am I missing something? I’ve never had to hit since I got the car it’s always stayed off. Thanks! |

Pretty sure it is deep in the climate setting menu tree.

Another compelling reason to forego this update until forced, absent even a single benefit that it seems no one has been able to find.

I was a little nervous to complete the update but my ocd made me. No issues other then having to re-do all my BimmerCode changes. Definitely no negative effect on the pops and bangs. If anything they are slightly louder.

I am having the exact same issue with the upload into the car. I can usually figure these things out, but have been unsuccessful. I stopped at the dealer and asked for a genius and the SA said: I don't suggest doing it. We are seeing some issues due to it. I would be better if you did it here with their software.
But after reading these comments, I think I will pass. If there's no significant benefits, why introduce potential inconveniences.

Downloaded to my phone today. Will probably delay the update for a bit.

I did yestersay. So far I really haven't noticed anything good or bad. Only thing which was reset post update was remote start.
