Unknown button on driver door seat controls

Have been looking around at some M5s and found this panel with a silver button I have never seen before. Can’t quite make out what it is though looks almost like seat heating which I know should not be located there. Have not been able to find any info if this is some kind of mod.

The overall panel does look like it’s from an f90. Almost like a button has been added in some of the empty space to the left side.

Wanted to see if anyone is familiar with this.

It looks like a 7 series control panel fitted to the 5 that lets you control the passenger seat from the drivers seat controls.

Good eye, man! This was driving me nuts.

We had another thread here about owners trying to add 7er style passenger seat control accessible to the driver’s seat.

EDIT — It was Jambo1.

Ah awesome thanks for the info. Interesting mod, like that functionality. Interesting bc it’s a CPO’d car with a fairly apparent modification. I wonder what else the last owner snuck in
