All f90s are no joke.

As someone who has actually done these exact same races with a CS & base vs my Comp... the same or very similar results would occur with a base, comp, or CS vs Taycan. The differences between the 3 are negligible, and come down to driver and timing IMHO. All f90s would have caught and passed the Taycan, much like the CS did.

The point of the CS wasn't straight line speed but the driving experience is much different from a regular m5 comp

I don’t think the driving experience of the CS/Comp/Base would vary much in the straight line roll race that this thread is about.

Agree, the perception of the driving experience in a CS is much different than a regular M5, most of it due to less sound dampening and a few minor changes to suspension tuning and transmission (I think). With out proper timing gear to test, the gains from car to car are minimal, and would mostly come down to a “butt dyno” or assumption/perception/opinion that one is much better than the other.

I’ll basically post the same comment for driving experience, it’s negligible between base, comp, and CS.

I’ve driven all 3, and own a comp.

straight line, track, twisty roads, doesn’t matter, all f90s are no joke, underrated power and beasts to contend with just about anything on the road today.

Sure there are faster cars in a straight line. There are faster cars around a track. Clearly.

But for all around comfort, tech, luxury, performance, driving dynamics all f90s, do all of it really well. It’s not the absolute best in any single category, however, for a Jack of all trades, it’s got to be close or the actual top car on the market today. Which is what it was designed to be. One Just has to pick what flavor f90 they like best and their budget can support.
