Buying additional lease miles

I'm already at 22k miles after one year on a 3 year 30k lease. I'd like to buy some miles at the discounted rate from bmw, prior to my lease ending. Does anyone know if I need to do that within a certain time period, or can I do it towards the end of my lease? Would hate to buy additional miles and not end up using them all.

BMW NA or your contract would be your best source as terms may have changed.

In my experience, I was able to buy discounted miles within a week of turning in my ‘15 M5. The lady w/ BMW NA did me a favor as I was a few days late.
