I looked into purchasing m8 buckets and part # for the seat frame was different than m5 CS/G80 (which share same part# on the seat frame) so I assumed that it’s different and chose not to buy them but did not physically try them.

No time at the moment but I’ll let you know when it’s done.

You have any other tips for the installation? In the process of having them installed now and it is definitely turning into a more involved mod. From the seat belt receptacle which was figured out to the harness to the coding. Any tips are appreciated. I knew there would be some custom work required so just wondering if you have any additional insight.

Besides modifying m5 seat belt receptacle to fit onto the bucket seats it was straightforward swap. I have not gotten it coded yet as I’m too busy lately and haven’t figured out who to use but I will report once I do. I also tried swapping seat module to one from the M5 and it did not work. No other tips I can share…sorry.

Do the Carbon Buckets sit much lower than the F90 seats? The first picture side by side looks like it might, but I’m assuming that’s just the angle the picture is taken.

Lagging on the coding for the seats/airbags.
As far as seat height… yes they sit lower but are height adjustable so it’s a non issue. I’m 5’9” and I have them at same height as I had my oem seats. Unless you are under 5’6” and you have your oem seats all the way up, you should have no issues.
