BMW TF-0870 vs BMW DTF 1 Transfer Case Oil

Okay, so a while back I did the fluid change on my transfer case and reset the oil wear indicator. Well checking the car tonight after picking it up from the mechanic for waterpump replacement, I have a wear indicator on the fluid.

So, I pull up realoem.com to find the part number for the fluid and find that the old fluid (TF-0870 / 83220397244 ) has been discontinued and replaced by a new one (DTF 1 / 83222409710 ).

Anyone know anything about the fluid change? Or should I find a liter of the old oil since that is what has been running in it?

Well, this is interesting. Pictures of both bottles basically have GL-4 on them under the part number and the SAE 75W.
