Not bad at all at 10.4 at 137mph. With a better hook should be a 10.2 ride.

6.76 60mph to 130mph is nice too. My 2019TTS stock was a 7.4 Tuned its quicker than the 6.76 But a 6.76 stock is a killer improvement.
Those are great times!!!

Pretty fast results from the 992, but gotta say I was expecting more given the reviews and results published beforehand. Was expecting a 10.1-10.2 1/4 and a quicker performance over 100mph. It still is insanely fast

I think you will faster from the US mags. Would not be surprised to see it dip into the 9s which is likely due to the rollout the US mags do.

Not my point LOL

My point is that exact car is going to be brutalized by all the testers and journalists.

I'm got a hole burning in my pocket for that new Turbo S.
I saw some tests have it running stock 10.1 which is damn fast.

I don't know how much a tune and some mods do on a Porsche but if I can't get 3 or 4 tenths that's a monster. I got almost a full second doing tune and mods on the M5. So even 1/2 that on a already faster car would be pretty damn fun to drive.

Also, with the duel clutch it makes launch control super easy to use an any time. That's one thing that is a bit of a pain on the F90 is you have a few steps you have to take and you can't sit there and hold the RPM's and wait for say a light to change. Mine will have zero traction if I hold it down for more than a second.

Is this thing for sale in the U.S. yet?

My dealer claims his first one will arrive in January. Not sure if others will land sooner. They should be close since Europe already has them on the street.

There are some Rennlist posters reporting that their cars are on a ship to the US right now, though it is unclear when EPA approvals are happening for 2021 Porsches.

I'm being told second week of November until my car gets released from the port.

Did you receive the 992 TTS ?

I’m still so happy with my 2019 TTS , it might take a GT2RS to get my attention over the 992TTS.

The difference between the M8 and the 992 Turbo S is ones a grand tourer and the other is a proper supercar.

Apples and oranges.

The M8 needs to be compared to the likes of the Bentley Conti or like.

Matt Wilson from Carwow has recorded numerous times the 992 TUrbo S doing 10.1-10.2s 1/4 mile times.

I have both cars. Well, close enough. I have a 2020 M5comp and a 2021 Turbo S. Both are tuned, both on HRE's, CCB's, DP's, meth, and so on.

When they were both stock the Porsche feels faster. After both are tuned the they feel closer but the Porsche just feels faster. Even though the times are very similar the Porsche feels much faster.

Both are great cars. My F90 ran a 9.8 and my Porsche a 9.6. However the Porsche is spinning big time off the line. I'm sure I could pick up 2 tenths with drag radials or on a track in the TTS where the M5 times were about as good as it's gonna get and I had full traction on my 9.8 runs.
