BM3 tune on F90

Anyone did the BM3 stage 1 or 2 on the F90?
It says you need the OBD unlock if software on the car is 2019 and newer, what does that mean? And what results are you getting with the BM3? Thank you.

THE Newer ECU versions need to be physically unlocked before you can flash the car. This process needs to be done only once, after that you can flash the car using the OBD

Contact PTF direct to check if your car's ECU needs to be unlocked

I've been running bm3 for 3 months now and I love it so far. It's a great platform and the OTS maps are perfect they are really fast but still somewhat conservative which if your like me gives you a little piece of mind. I wouldn't go any other route to tune my m5.

I've been running bm3 since March. Love it. I also did a 10:1 @139 on the stg2 e30 map track verified. I also did a 10:3 @138 on the stg2 93. Solid platform. And the fact that you can transfer the license to a future bmw one time makes it a win for me.

Thanks for your answers! Would anyone be able to post a 0-60 and 60-130 or 100-200 time pre tune and after BM3 stage 2? Interested in 93 pump gas results.

On Stage 1, 93 octane I was averaging 10.74's with 126-128 trap with 1.70 60fts. A lot of stock comps were running this time stock .

My average 60-130 was always mid 7's whether on stage 1 or 2. When I tried 60-130 on the street mostly cooler nights I could manage low 7's even broke into the 6's once or twice.

Some tuners said it was driver mod or need better tires. When I see people get 10.3's @134 mph it makes me want to switch to DME already lol, but there's this air about DME blowing up engines, but most of the guys who do blow it them up, I hear they abuse their car and some have even admitted it lol!

What to do? I beat most cars but I still want a daily mid 6 second car from 60-130 with bad tires and bad driver mod. Is that too much to ask lol!

DME is great for these S63 M5/M8's. Consistent mid 6's 60-130 on pump gas map is wild

I recently did 6.53 on the ots e30 map. I would check it out

Did you notice any jerkiness at all? For example, did you or do you ever seen your RPM band jump up or down with the tune? Does it feel just like stock or a bit jerky?

Flash tunes if done properly have a power delivery as smooth as stock. I have not experienced jerkiness with any bm3 map on any car

I was able to do this with evolve stage 2 e30 and tcu tune. Draggy was tripping on slope as all of my runs are at same place and sometimes slope is fine and sometimes is incorrect so but gives u an idea.
