I should qualify my claims. This is from my last experience with them from 2019 and I know the price has changed since then, perhaps their shipping has also? The racks are very heavy and I was surprised that UPS would handle them. I thought they had a weight limit for their drivers, and maybe the arrangement with QuickJack has been modified? Or, maybe UPS isn’t their shipper of choice anymore?

Whatever, the $100 charge for getting them off the truck is BS! They’re heavy sure, but you can’t hurt them even pushing them off at loading dock height.

Yeah, but maybe a bit risky given the way the QJ drops and raises the car relies a good deal on the tires being able to roll a bit to relieve bind which would otherwise apply a shear between the floor, QJ and jacking points. With such heavy cars and low profile tires that don’t have a ton of flex available in their sidewalls, this probably is a greater force than the QJ geometry was designed around.

Maybe he’s done many a lift successfully, but I wouldn’t recommend it or do it myself.
Fun fact, Actually found a video from QJ on doing this. Apparently it is allowed. But they caution to pay attention to the cars weight distribution. Good to know at least.

Got my 6000 in last week and have a pin hole in one of the welds that's leaking air. Still waiting to hear back from Bendpak about it.

Interesting! I don't think I'd be comfortable doing it with our wide-tired, low profile cars personally though.

I also received my 6000 jacks (only ordered the jacks as the pump assembly from my 5000 is identical and can be swapped in and out with the supplied quick disconnects!

Why do the profile and tires have to do with it out of curiosity?

In my mind, the reduced flex in low profile tires could lead to more “skipping” as the car is lowered back down while a taller tire could flex more and then relieve the tension once the jack decouples from the frame completely.

Have I done this experiment to compare? No - I’m just theorizing.
