At the Stealership anything is possible Normally the price is under $100 for 4 wheel alignment ranging from $69.99 to $89.99 at most alignment shops here in Socal.

I pay a little more at a third party than 100 bucks .... 200 at a dealer is actually low.

Thanks, is it silly to assume that the dealer will do better job than local tire shops where the techs’s don’t get paid nearly as much as a BMW tech?

Ive always felt dealer alignment pricing is like their tire prices; way over priced for what one can get elsewhere.

Id be more worried about the 3rd party having the right specs. But most reputable alignment shops have the latest specs and laser setups. After I lowered my F90- I went to a well known shop where I live and it was 119 dollars and it was total of 1 hr tops from drop off to drive away. I got the spec sheet to see the before and after and the car drives great.

It's a six figure car brand new, you're going to have a tough time getting a lower quote anywhere

$150.. i pay the premium at the dealer bc they are versed in handling immaculate expensive cars unlike the local grease shop who will first be unfamiliar and anxious and totally get grease on my alcantara etc etc..

BUT driving a new $120k car and shopping for a cheap alignment is kinda funny.

You know how you turn the stealership into a healership? be nice and let them know you are cool and know u know what kind of nightmare u drive. lol.

now i havent had any nightmares yet and i have fun going in getting oil changes and upgrades etc and my dealer is low volume but they definitely cut me breaks and i end up spending the same or less after rebates and stuff than at a place that would fook me up. (i also dont have a good indy shop near me but i like bmw's setup) (the real deal is new with warranty tho!)
