Hey eveyrone,

Just wanted to share my setup in-case its useful for anyone:

Eibach F90 springs
10mm front spacers. Rear standard
285/30/20 + 295/30/20

I wasn't looking to completely remove any arch gap but just wanted it a bit lower than stock without dramatically changing the suspension geometry.

After settling for 1 day total drop is around 15mm front and 7mm rear. Its settled by about 5mm since installing and I think it may drop a little more over the coming days. This is pretty close to the claimed 25mm/15mm drop after you factor in the 7mm drop the competition has over the non comp.

With the wider tyres 10mm spacers worked well although I think 12mm (which was out of stock at Evolve) would work well too. Again I wanted to wheel to come out a bit but not right out to the arch. Also I was wary about the additional stress to the wheel bearings over the long term.

Havent had chance to really see if any change in handling but in terms of firmness it feels exactly like stock for me.

Note that pics were taken directly after installation so ride height is maybe 5-10mm higher than it was the day after. Will take some more pics soon.

Thanks for posting! I'm considering the Eibachs. Please post more pics of the drop when you take them.

That side shot is beautiful. If Evolve did the work may I ask why you didnt go withh their MSS setup?

I will likely use evolve for my tune and lowering.

Car looks good!

Is it the eibach pro kit Partnumber E10-20-041-01-22?
This kit should lower 25mm front 20mm rear but this is most likely on a non comp M5.

Apologies its taken a while to reply! Just realised i didnt have notifications on.

It was mostly down to the fact that i couldnt see myself ever needing the adjustability (had coilovers in the past and never adjusted them once). So in the end it was mostly about value.

For someone who would use the adjustability though the mss seems a good option.

Okay i see.

One thing to notice is that you have 285/30 295/30 which are 23mm smaller in diameter than the stock 275/35 285/35 so the gap between tyre to fender are a little bigger with your tyres than stock.

Yah if i recall with standard tyres you would have 11.5mm less gap to the arch.

Im still undecided whether i think it was a good idea or not to go away from the standard tyre profile. I may move back to 285/35/20 when i wear these out.
