No this is all hype, it's really just an M5C with some paint, buckets and carbon bits.
I'm sure you said this just to troll this thread. If not you're an idiot🤪🤪🤪

Please see my prior posts and the fact that I own an M2 CS as evidence that I was being sarcastic.

Sarcasm has 3 outcomes: very funny, don't get it, being vulnerable. I appreciate that's what you meant now. Sorry, for being rough on your comment. It's not normally my style. My moniker tells how I'm biased.

Don’t know if he’s a fanboy or not, but I do remember him scoffing at BMW fanboys. That leads me to believe he’s probably not a current bmw fanboy…….

No one cares really.

What is an engine depreciation curve and what is your source for making this statement?

Nice car but i my opinion not worth the high price.
And some options you can't get on the CS.

I wonder what BMW did for CS for it to drive better accordingly to some reviewers?
Recalibrated electronic dampers ,alignment and other swaybars?
The weight reduction don't matter that much i don't think.

OMG; Bimmerpost needs to develop an artificial intelligence code that automatically trashes all the M3/4 "grill hating" and M5 CS "not worth the price" posts into a single dumpster.

Must be because M5 Comp reviews are consistently lukewarm at best. The CS is what the Comp should have been all along.

Years of German car ownership combined with a plethora of data available online.

For example.

M5. http://dashboard-light.com/vehicles/BMW_M5.html

All 5-series (Yes some V8's are in this group) http://dashboard-light.com/vehicles/BMW_5_Series.html

Yes.

Not as much of a gap between M5 and Comp as there should be. Only makes sense if you consider they were holding back to make room for the CS.

Even more so when you consider the universal glowing praise the CS gathers.

The steering feeling is probably the greatest downfall of M5 and M5C especially the pre LCI, based on almost all reviews I have watched

Could all be alignment related as well, no one knows yet what the differences really are if any.

I'm glad bmw have produced one of the best M cars ever .... and only limited by production time.

Get it while you can ... we are already saying goodbye to manual transmission and NA, so the High Capacity ICE will be next.

Looking forward to the retrofit M5C 'recalibration' threads, since in my hands on a track, the M5C is outstanding - once weighted up in a corner.

waiting for the updates ...

wow, just looked at the above Ring laptimes - this car is nuts!

while, it not much faster than M4C and slower than M4GTS, its rubbing shoulders with some expensive, high speed, big downforce cars - it only 1.6s off a 991 gt3 rs and lambo LP610-4 in the same hands!

it's the new ring taxi then .....

People really want to believe the CS was more than a quick way to wag the dog and get people to pay more for less. Museum with plaque that reads "perfection?" More likely to end up in the section giving examples of consumer mania, marketing tricks, and astroturf.

Be careful what you wish for; have you seen the latest designs coming out of Munich?
Yup. All the reason to keep the older cars and not sell them. They will do well in the future. Especially when all Governments ban all new cars from being gas powered.

Possibly - but currently going for upto 75k above MSRP - so there is demand

The car marketing departments are very good at selling car/options that we don't really need - since about 1981 for me
