Great video comparing the ABT RS6-R and M5 CS.

It's in German but you can translate it into English subtitles.

There is absolutely no way the M5 CS has 635 HP. That car has more like 800 HP. The way it reeled in that RS6 with 735 HP was insane.

Ohhhh…. M5CS wagon would be awesome! Imagine having some rear facing seats in the third row, like those station wagons from the 80s. That would be amazing.

Bmw driver seemed a bit clueless, not sure if that contributed. Launch was so different and rolling m5 just walked away, thats odd

It's more like 635 WHP, so technically they're not lying.

Same thing with the base F90 M5. My brother has one and it's making over 730 HP after down pipes and a tune. These are mega cars.

Yes the last two incarnations finally put rest to what CS really stands for.

I think that Audi does not make 735 hp. It's like 8.5 s for 100-200 kmh, my stock M5 makes 7s for that metric

Please do this entire race over on a dry track with a better driver in the M5 CS. I really doubt the RS6-R would be faster.

Power to weight ratio is always the correct metric, that Audi weighs well over 2 tonnes.

Factor in that BMW now seem to overstate weight and understate power and the performance swings in favour of the mighty M5CS.

Same M5CS vs standard Audi RS7

You are spot on with that.

It's a shame that weight reduction isn't given a bit more attention, as it would also mean reduced fuel consumption and of course better handling. Colin Chapman got it right years ago!
