I know this part can be really frustrating. MY 23 M8 GC started production beginning of February, finished by end of February and then sat at port for about 6 weeks. It was then picked up and I tracked the vessel too many times watching it go. I took delivery 2 1/2 weeks ago and can say it is worth the wait! I originally ordered an M5 in August and ran into issues with a particular dealer on two cars as well so even waiting all that time over all I can say the wait is worth it. I know the way you are feeling though. Try to take your mind off of it and be patient. It will get picked up and delivered soon or later. The process is pretty quick when it gets picked up too.

Thanks! Only differences were the color and the fact that the new one has extended leather instead of full. I'm ok with that and it wasn't a deal breaker. This one's dark graphite instead of MBB and is more in line with my color choices in general, so I'll be in my comfort zone. Super excited and am glad to not be waiting at the port anymore!

There's no relief like knowing you won't have to check MyGarage 27 times a day.

thanks for the reassurance. It's still at port, 3.5 months later. No genius or sales associate has any idea why. It's mind boggling.

Interesting article today on CNBC.com shedding more light on why finished cars are sitting at the port in Germany for extended periods of time.
