I currently have the standard 20” M Y-spoke style 789M on my M5. If I move to 21" to get these HRE wheels, will the ride quality be noticeably harder? Over potholes for example.

Or I guess the HRE's are available in 20" as well.

That car's on H&R 550 springs and plenty of pictures to make a determination regarding stance.

Any time you go up in wheel size you will notice a little more harshness but it is not too bad, at least not in my opinion.

I have been on 21" wheels and suspension on my last 3 M5's and have been fine. On current 19' M5C, I had 21" wheels on H&R 550's and it feels very close to OEM.

I know the suspension on the LCI's has been tweaked with some M8 components so this may not be an apples to apples comparison.
