I use an insurance broker that usually goes and finds the best deal with home and auto and all that jazz bundled.

Is this a bad price? That is about what I pay for the M5 plus an X5. Of course it depends on state, area etc.

I pay around $2400 a year for my M5 and wife's X5; max coverage across the board but note that I carry a $1K deductible. The rates would be around $3000 if I bumped down the deductible to $500. It is with State Farm and I live in TX.

Yeah, from what I have seen quotes really depend on the area, insurance score which can be different from credit score, and kind of hard to compare with others across the country - too many variables. Also the same carrier may have better rates in some states than others.

Mine is currently $2k for the m5 and x5 for a year with $500 deductible and max coverage (this is with Travelers and also have house, umbrella and a couple more with them in TN). Strange thing, removing a 535 and adding the m5 only added $30 for the whole year.

2018

MSRP on my 2018 was $111,895. Dealer discount was $7,300 and incentives were an additional $2,500. Money factor was at the base rate of .00166. This was at BMW Bakersfield (California). First time dealing with them and it was an easy deal, they did everything they said they would do.

119,885 MSRP. Almost 12k off. 1490/month including full sales tax. 0 down. 3yr/10k. I think the MF is slightly marked up, but at 12k off, still not a bad deal, is it?

Wow. From reading the site. I think they actually made it worse. They didnt change the residual and they took away money.

Based off of msrp and buyout price on their site, residual values haven't changed 😡

My CA just called me. Not only did the residuals stay the same for October, but they bumped the MF buy rate to .00182! BMW really does not want to lease 2019MY M5s right now. Unbelievable!

WTF? That's ridiculous .... at least I got the .0166 MF.

My dealer only discounted $1K off MSRP; I hope you can do better.
