Should I take this car?

Found at great deal on an F90 (at MSRP, but they're offering significantly more for my current vehicle than any other quotes I've gotten).

But, it's black wheels on black sapphire paint. How do you guys like that blacked out look (I'd also black out all of the chrome no matter what color I choose)?

Also, it has the aluminum trim on black leather interior, but I prefer the dark carbon trim. Any thoughts on the aluminum trim? I feel like it's too light for a car that's blacked out.

Otherwise, this has everything I'm looking for (exec package, carbon roof).

If it is optioned out the way you want, then go for it! I would say the dark carbon trim is optimal, but then again, it's just trim.

If you get the black wheels, then, for sure, make sure you black out the trim and exhaust. I think it looks really weird when options with the dark wheels and chrome exhaust. I never understood why anyone did that.

How would you recommend going about blacking out the trim? Can that be wrapped pretty easily? I've never tried changing the color of trim before, and also wondering if I'd be paying for it later if I lease the car (when I go to turn it in).

It's definitely a look you need to commit to. I have a blacked out RX8 and it takes more effort to keep it looking clean. It looks great for a few days after a wash but then shows dirt and dust pretty easily. If you enjoy detailing your cars or will use a detailer several times per month, it's hard to beat the blacked out look.

If you want to REALLY black it out, you'd get Piano Black trim...

Yep, personally I just think BMW's carbon trim and aluminum trim doesn't look good. Piano black is the best in my opinion, for any color interior.

I swear the piano black trim was gathering dust as the detailer was working on it. Between the Piano black trim and the silverstone interior I have to drive around with him and his microfiber towels!
