Unfortunately the E63s is even heavier, just like panamera and RS6/7. I've driven them all and if you ask me the M5 feels the lightest and most nimble. The tests seem to confirm my impression in that it is the lightest, it's superior in all the slalom, figure 8 and braking tests. In fact even most track tests and acceleration tests have also been won by the M5.

The E63s is awesome car and I would happily own one - but the M5 is not sh*t.
I think Auto Zeitung article implied the 100kg+ (lighter) weight advantage is what won M5 the track test.

I am (probably we all are) still waiting for SA's supertest and Auto Bild Sportscar's test because their track tests are more detailed, shows corner speed, trap speed, and etc.

I am especially interested in SA's trap speed on Dottinger Hohe straight (shows top end power) with the new M5. F10 M5 CP did 295km/h which was a spectacular trap speed even by SA's admission, they felt the M5 they got was especially powerful.

For comparison, M4CS did 268km/h, M4 GTS 275km/h, Z06 275km/h, AMG GTR 295km/h, 488 GTB 314km/h, 911 GT3 (latest version) 284km/h, E63S wagon 292km/h, 911 GT3 RS 250km/h (probably too much downforce), and 911 Turbo S (latest version) 299km/h.

Yep, I'm more interested in customer cars/vids. Some of the Russian forums (and they are a bit crazy about speed/tuning) suggest the customer M5s aren't pulling the numbers the mags say even post run in. Might explain carwow, as carwow use dealer cars for UK drag runs.

Also tyre wise, apparently the new Pirelli PZ4 was selected for UK/Europe because it performs better in colder and moist conditions (reviews seem to back that up). Also increases efficiency, and less road noise.

Lol your twists in arguments are smacking of fanboyism ... you forgot the braking distances recorded by C & D 147 vs 153 ft ... due to fuel difference?

What twists, I'm just saying what a simple google search says why BMW supplies Pirellis PZ4s in UK.

You forgot the breaking distances shown by CarWow?

There are so many variables, tires, brakes, level of wear, temperature, track surface condition, or even the quality of gas in the tank. The two cars are very close.

What makes the M5 the winner for me, is that it archives this level of performance while offering a higher degree of comfort versus the E63S.

I have not driven both cars, but M5 having a more comfortable ride seems to be the media consensus. Which is shocking considering that the E63S is riding on air suspension.
