Isweep is1500 front brake pads
I bought my 2019 M5C in January 2023. It has about 35k miles. I absolutely love this car, but like so many of you, I hate the low speed brake squealing.
I saw an advertisement for iSweep IS1500 front brake pads. The ad stresses same bite as stock with minimal brake dust and no squealing. Sounds too good to be true. Have any of you heard of this brand or better yet actually purchased them? If so, please share your thoughts and recommendations . Thanks for you help. |

If you want the same bite as OEM, then get the iS2000s and not the iS1500. I have the iS2000 and the bite is more or less the same as OEM, and there is WAY less dust (like 90% less).

Thanks for the advice Jambo1. Im concerned about the brake squeal, which my stock pads do constantly at low speeds. Did the IS2000 brake pads get rid of the squealing?

I have had the iS2000 installed for 3 months and about 3,000 miles so far and there has been no squeal at all. There is significantly less dust but not none at all.

I replaced both and so far it's getting great feedback while braking in different situations with very minimal dust.
The true test will be at the track.

FYI Do not track the 1500 ceramic pads. They will glaze in a heart beat! The 2000 should be ok but still not ideal. Im sure they still have a decent amount of ceramic compound in them which lends to the reduced dust.

I have the IS1500 and I LOVE THEM! My main goal was to eliminate dust. I have beautiful 2 piece wheels and was sick of cleaning them every time I drove the car. I would agree with Jambo that if you want the same bite as OEM go with 2000. The 1500 has about 10-15% LESS bite then OEM on the INITIAL brake tap, after the initial tap the feel and bite is very similar to stock. But the dust is about 90-95% LESS than OEM. I can drive the car for a week and the rims will still look clean, its amazing. NOO regrets going with 1500. I DO NOT track my car and have no plans on it. As others have mentioned DO NOT track 1500 pads, nor even 2000. I have done a few spirited canyon runs and did NOT experience any brake fade. Over all great pads and very happy. Like the Porterfields, these pads 1500 & 2000 have REDUCED bite in the extreme cold. You need Warm these pads up for optimal braking power. Little to NO DUST (90-95% LESS DUST) + 90% bite of OEM = IS1500 Reduced dust (70-80% LESS DUST) + same bite as OEM = IS2000

I agree with the above poster. I rarely push the car. But doing regular stuff I detect no difference. Man the brake dust is much much much less. So far me the is1500 are a raging success.

I have 34K miles on my car and wondering if i replace the pads now to is2000 does it make sense or should I wait until I need to replace the rotors too then do them all together? My service guy last week said I have about 8mm on the rear pads and about 12mm on the front remaining so still some life in them

Are you the same company as Autoteknic because they sell Isweep for BMW for the same price as you?

They are a Carbon Fiber company and sells other stuff too. We help each other in the business. I help test fitting a lot of their products before launched.
