Me too, I was able to pick up my fully loaded 2022 M5 Comp below MSRP. If I was in the market now I would go to swap a lease and assume a lease at the lower rates.

Little respect for them as it is, haha. and before anyone tries to play the supply and demand card, you can eat a D right along with them. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. BMWs failure to produce vehicles to meet the demands of the market shouldn't be an excuse for the privately owned dealerships to take advantage of the consumer. I feel BMW should put a cap on mark ups to match the local market (ie. all cars should be more expensive in CA soley because CA sucks). Just my opinion. haha
Hey that's not fair! Lol

That's what I did with my 2019, but check the Swap forums rn. I check almost daily. It's a ghost town, and the deals are very few and far between, if any. Most of the swaps are asking crazy $ down, are missing good options, etc. When I looked early last year, great cars were practically a dime a dozen.

It's still a reasonable option though, and honestly what I would do before plunking down MSRP+.

Tried negotiating with the offers that have been up for a while?

Granted, deals are pretty mediocre or even bad right now on both ends of the market. Buyers are paying markup and passing it on when selling.

Not yet. I'm still months out, but can't imagine there will be a ton of wiggle room. I'm just keeping an eye out for now to gauge. It's ugly out there.

Good call, $7k down with $4k equity is basically putting down $11k on a lease. Never put down that much for a lease. My M8 comp with $160k MSRP was leased (right before all the craziness), no money down for $1670/month.

My dealer was awesome the whole way. We had a bit of a misunderstanding at first contact so they took $2k off MSRP for my time/trouble. This was negotiated last July when I ordered. My car arrived at the US port in December when finance rates for purchase were at .9%. My car was held up at the port for a few weeks for the B&W chip so I wasn’t able to take delivery until late January. By then the rate had gone up to 1.9% so I politely asked if there was any chance they could honor the .9. They asked BMWFS if that was ok and I was able to finance at .9.

Having purchased 5 new American cars over the past 10 years, I was very pleased with the experience here. Guess where my first stop will be when my wife’s F-Pace lease is up next March?

Wicked deal and pretty fast delivery in these strange times we live. Congrats.
