I got my production number April 1st, put it into that tracker and been tracking like 10 times a day hoping it would change lol I have driven myself insane these last 18 days so I'm definitely going to take your advice!
Taking aj_g80's advice, and a "confirmation" (if there is such a thing anymore) from my CA about Week 21 production I can now go as long as a whole 24 hours without checking it.
Okay, I'll admit I just checked on it again now

I still check once a day myself. Doesn’t bother me that it hasn’t moved off 112. I know when it’s supposed to be built and not expecting much until 2 weeks prior.

In the same boat as you obviously RE: knowing my production week at this point but still so hard to fight the urge lol!

What I did was count up the worst case scenario on how long it will take to arrive at the dealership based on the sticky thread, and use that as my countdown. So while I check everyday, it's more of an informational status thing than anything else. 86 days and counting!

That's brilliant! Thank you for sharing. Did you use the "BIMMERPOST Guide to Ordering and Tracking your BMW" to calculate the number of days? I'd love to do the same.

I've had my car for almost 2 months now and I still check the status twice a day out of habit!

Yes. I took the worst case and used that. Better to be pleasantly surprised when it's earlier than be upset when it's late. It helps keep the expectation focused on a more likely outcome.

LOL I'm sorry! We're triggering one another here. I hope your production gets moved up, too! I'm guessing no movement?

I had to check as well after these posts obviously
No movement for me yet.

The magic number based on the way you did yours seems to be 75 days!

My car has been at port in Germany for about 3 weeks and no ship has been assigned yet. Anyone have rough time usually how long would that take?

That's longer than things would take in normal times, but not unheard of now. This step is usually around a few days. I have recently seen other forum members with wait times such as this.

Here is the general timeline.

My first one only took 2 days in Nov, my second one took nearly 3 weeks in March, so they definitely have delays now at the port. The other thing is the tracker is slow to update so your car will have already been on a ship for 2-5 days before bmw even knows its on a ship lol.

I am on the G80/82 tread and people with Build Week 21 seem to have switched to Production Begins (150). One of the members states that his production date is showing as May 11. Are F90s on a different schedule or something?

I am unaware of the schedule the F90 is on vs. the G8X, so I can't speak to that, but I am also Week 21 production and I am still showing scheduled for production.

There are probably other forum members that could speak to this better, but I'll throw out there that G8Xs are produced at Regensburg, while the F90 is produced at Dingolfing. Maybe Regensburg is further ahead on their scheduling? Sorry that this is only speculation and conjecture and doesn't actually answer your question.

I haven't called the "Geniuses" in a while, today might be a good day if I find the time. I'll keep you posted as to what they say!
