Playing and knowing aren't exactly the same, now are they?

One must have a basic understanding of the rules before they can first play. It’s a top down experience. Like car ownership. I’m wise enough to know that many parade their opinions as facts. Even using the term, “better”, is conjecture.

Knowing the NFL and playing in the NFL is not the same. Just saying.

But if you know the game, like Belichick, you don’t have to be playing to know wtf you’re talking about. You won’t find too many people who can be objective when they’re currently driving a car and comparing how it’s “better” to another. A non—owner can be far more critical and not allow their experience to make sweeping generalizations. I can be an observer and still come to a better conclusion than a “player”. Comparing navigations from two opinions. Lol. Or imaginary “track days” is classic internet.

Some people struggle with anologies. My point is, you don’t have to own a car to know the difference between facts and conjecture. You don’t have to play the game to know the rules. Compare these two vehicles on a Tesla forum and you’ll see a shift in opinions. There’s a reason why independent companies such as JD Assoc. commission their surveys. Imagine if we asked the manufacturer how satisfied customers were with their vehicles.

like I said, we have to give credit to Tesla for bringing electric car technology this far and pushing other manufacturers to follow suit.

With that said, you are going unusually out of your way to defend Tesla on a bmw forum. Offcourse we prefer Bmws on a bmw forum. Shocker!

struggle with analogies? Not so, It's like comparing yourself to Jesus just because you donated to a charity.

“Unusually out of my way?” That implies I’m supposed to say things that favor your position We should be able to respect well-rooted explanations regardless of what forum we’re on. Are you here to win or get information?

Yup, totally! No complaints. Being a "car guy" and a "tech lover" Tesla has been the most satisfying vehicle(s) to own ever. Still love BMW but find myself yearning for an older vintage/classic BMW now just for the odd time I want to feel that mechanical connection to a vehicle. Can't say much more without sounding like another brainwashed fanboy (which I probably am guilty of becoming).

100% Agree.
