Did you have to take it in for service for the codes?, or did they vanish by themselves once the system "settled down?

No, the problem codes had nothing to do with the intake as it turned out. The car wasn't running 100% prior to the intake being installed.

I feel another dyno coming on this Spring though

RPI scoops? Is that from a different company? or an upgrade from DCI?

RPI scoops are an additional source for forced air induction to the intake itself. There are quite a few different makers of these and they all basically do the same thing.

DCI intakes (as well as most air intakes found on this forum) thrive with a greater volume of outside (cold) air being forced through the filters. The scoops increase that air flow under throttle. The true benefit of this process is found in the higher speeds ... aka, greater amount of air induction. I'm guessing 60 mph +
