So it's a down-market Cullinan with more motor?

Don't know yet. Could be? Reportedly, 3 engine options. If it does go into production July 2022 as originally rumored, hopefully we'll be hearing more news and seeing more spyshots in the next several months.

Considering the Cullinan is a 4 seater x7 where Rolls grabbed the chassis off the line and threw their catalog of fun at the rest of it, this seems like a safe enough bet

If they give the hybrid power close to the new Porsche Panamera 4S E Hybrid (552hp) and do not throw that ugly 4 Series grill on it, I will be seriously considering. If the price stays under $140k, it could be perfect.

Super interested to see how this call plays out. It's not likely going to be a candidate for me at the moment with three kids and a couple of dogs. We're maxing out the X7 as-is.

I saw this in the wild and really hope it isn't an X8 and some DCX product:

Ja I drove behind a black one in Northern Virginia, it was definitely a JGW. Got a video clip of it on the road, LOL.

These SUVs are getting bigger and bigger. Will BMW hop on the bandwagon?

Looking forward to seeing how the X8 turns out

Hard to make much of that, but those rear arches have some nice flare!

Not a good look for both test mules to have overheated after a few laps (per the article). Didn't the Tesla Model S Plaid have the same issue? Any ideas on what would cause this outside of being full BEV or PHEV?

We'll indeed see, won't we? I'm very interested, although with multiple current issues like supply shortages, I'm not as hopeful as I used to be.
