VTT GC E85 713whp

Hey, guys were taking the VTT M3 to Shift-Sector tomorrow and wanted to get some E85 in it and see how she does. Cary has a pretty crazy schedule, so we only had time for a few revisions. With just 3 revisions on E85 power output jumped up to 713WHP, and almost 700WTQ.

The best part is its holding almost 700WHP to redline on a conservative E85 tune. This is 30.9 psi at redline, and about 15 degrees. Cary believes if we dare push the stock motor, 34-35 psi, and about 17 degrees we would see 800WHP. We are not sure we want to push the shop car that hard, but it's awesome to know the flow is there if we want it.

We have about 15 sets of GC's, and 2 sets of GC+ delivered to customers, so we should start seeing some 3rd party results very soon. These units really do not disappoint! As always let us know if you have any questions!

Chris

Our car runs stock DCT clutches, our spline lock hub fix with crank bolt capture, and stock diff.

Nice looking graph...on paper looks like high 6(k)'s would be ideal shift points, not sure about real world.

Impressive stuff.

Due to time constraints Cary did not have a chance to really dial in the boost curve perfectly. Once we have that done, power would hold flat to redline, which should allow optimal shifts closer to redline. With that said, on 3 revisions look how smooth the power with 0 smoothing applied to the graph. CaryTheLabelGuy is the man when it comes to S55 tuning

Just wanted to point this out, because this has me baffled. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you meant to say 305/35/19 instead of 305/50/19 (doesn't exist). For reference, 305/40/18 barely fits (requires plastic trim removal) with stock rear springs.

Too bad the ET Street S/S don't come in 295/40/18, or that would be the most ideal DR tire size for this platform.

We actually had that wrong, the tires on the car are the 285/35/19's We tried the 305's but they didn't work with the offset on the wheels are using. 19" is as small as we can use because its a CCB car. The original post has been fixed.

So, what should this car consistently do in the 1/4 mile?

This is impossible to answer. Too many variables in the 1/4 mile equation. What fuel, what tires, what tune, how much weight is removed from the car, hows track prep, DA, the list goes on. With that said, we believe as it sits now, full weight, if brought it to the strip with proper tires it would run a low 10-sec pass. As stated above its difficult since its a CCB car 19" is a small as we can go.
