Bay area drivers-let's unite
I've been driving in the bay area for a while now and found out about good tracks, roads to drive around. There're porsche, ferrari driving clubs I saw driving on those roads and thought why not we all meet up and drive together as well.
If you're driving 3-4 series, M3 or M4, let's meet up for a winding drive altogether. I own M sport, '16, dinan stage 2 MPPK, MP 435i. I love pushing the car and hoping to find other car enthusiats. Last edited by shadowyman; 12-07-2015 at 03:55 PM.. |

Do you belong to the local (Golden Gate) chapter of the BMW club? Sounds like you should. Meeting up for drives is one of the things they do best.
My M4 is actually due this weekend (been waiting 4+ months) and I'd be up for a drive in good weather. |

I wanted something smaller, more exclusive and more informal where everyone would know each other. Thanks for pointing me out though.

Might anyone have the MPE on the F80/82? I would love to hear that in person.
I also need to find someone who can code Euro MDM mode for me too.

I'm in MTV and would be happy to do some coding, even if it isn't for a beer or two! ...and of course also happy to meet up.
There's a facebook group also called Bay Area F8X Owners, which is closed. I believe I can add folks to that w/o admin privs... but am not certain. I'm always down for a drive--my favorite route is 280 to Page Mill to Skyline to La Honda, stop and have a beer at Apple Jack's, and head back. It's a bit damp on the west side of the mountain these days, but it's still super fun... Other favorites (from my E82 and KTM 690 Duke days) are Mt. Hamilton, Del Puerto Canyon (after a stop at the Junction), and Calaveras Rd at night (don't want to kill any bicyclists, after all)... |

Folks, I'm gonna close this down for a bit as there are now too many of us to drive safely together. Of course not sure about the real turn ups will be but I am hoping about 7-8 cars.
