Thanks everyone for the help.
Thank you for your.

For weekend warrior, I do recommend IS3500.
Bite way more than stock, dust about the same as stock. IIRC doesn’t squeal as bad as Pagid Yellow.

When you engage in reverse or drive, that is when it is most noticeable.

I use Carbotech XP-12 at the track. Works great, but overkill for street.

So when the weight of the car is transferred in the opposite direction, ONLY when you first engage the car, does this sound about right?

I notice this very slight click with the iSweep pads as well.

Im running endless mx72. they are much much better than OEM in terms of noise. I can say 90%. it dose make some noise sometimes but not as OEM.

in terms of dust its also much better. I think like 80% less dust.

I dont remember the OEM very well since Im running Endless for almost a year now but for stopping power they are good for street use. I think its about5-10% less in terms of stopping power than OEM.

I received my iSweep 2000 front brake pads from RG Sport. Installed them and so far so good, nice bite, minimal brake dust and most importantly, no brake squeal.

I highly recommend these pads and thanks for everyone's feedback on this thread.

You might want the 2500 or higher for track use, but expect some dust and squeal at times. http://isweep-tuning.com/products/brakepad.html

Also read up on what the members here who track use. Some have tracked no problem on stock pads. Others are finding greater pad life but less rotor life with the Euro sport version of stock pads, which I think are similar to RS29.

I just drive on the street, at least so far, with my F90 so don’t listen to me for your track pad questions any more than you listen to the low dust ceramic pad guys. I bought the EBC blue to try on a fresh set of rotors, but have not installed them yet. From what you write, the blue are not great. Maybe I will stick with stock. Stock stops great on the street — I have braked hard from 160 mph with no fade, but that is 1 stop and there is time to cool unlike track use.
Let me know how the fronts fit for you. I had to grind some of the paint off the outside edges to get them to fit within the caliper. Even then, once they got a good amount of heat in them, the backing plate would expand and the pad would seize in the caliper and drag.

I am now running 2 piece floating rotors from Triton Motorsports and their street pads for now. I am waiting on the race pads for track season.

So far the Triton street pads have been really clean and still perform well. The weather has not really cooperated with me to put in any aggressive driving on them yet.

I just removed the RS 29 this past weekend because I had a lot of brake chatter (vibrations) during usage. I noticed that during removal, they lacked the extra clip BMW installed on the pad. It appears that the RS 29 was vibrating within the caliper for the carbon ceramics.

It also appears that there is a very fine line between fitment being perfect, and seizing up during usage.

Please let me know how these 2 piece floating rotors from Triton motorsports are doing. My phone call with them was a little less than warm and fuzzy, and shook my confidence. This stock rotors are cheaper, but look out of place on my carbon ceramic calipers. They work fine with stock pads however, both carbon ceramic and noncarbon ceramic. I am back to the OEM carbon ceramic pad, which was very suitable for track use, both on the carbon rotor, and the steel rotor.

Yes, I ran the RS29's. The wear sensor didn't fit, and there was no steel clip around the pad so it juddered while heavy braking (but I have the carbon ceramic calipers, but the standard pads fit it just fine, and the standard rotors do too).

The RS29's lasted FOREVER, but had those problems

2018 M5, Stock.... Just had to change the rotors and pads on the front last week. I put Isweep 2000 's on and just bed the brakes in yesterday. Brakes are always funny when you first put them on, but Not one squeak or squeal, and no noticeable brake dust. Looking forward to seeing this through... I have read how people have had these on for a while and still no squeal.... I have to say that the supplier, RG Sport? was awesome. Super responsive and timely.
