Temp tags for PCD?
I'm waiting to hear back from my finance guy but he just emailed me and said he's applying for my temp tags on Monday (4/29) and they will be here in 3-5 days. The problem is I fly out for PCD the next day so they will not be here in time.
I think my CA (Jon Shafer) mentioned previously that the Performance Center provides a South Carolina trip permit that will get me back home to the PNW but it's getting a little close for my comfort. So do I get tags from the PC? TIA! |

SC resident here who did the PCD as well;My CA said the SC temp tags would be here w plenty of time to spare(which they were)but I was still concerned due to the local USPS's horrible reputation of losing mail etc.
The CA said if that's the case the PCD would provide necessary tags to get me home as long as I had proof of insurance and not to worry.

You are good! Driving back to Seattle? We drove back to Az Jan 2023 and enjoyed the drive! Stopped at Barber and stayed 2 nights in Memphis.

Yes, a little south of Seattle. Rough plan barring tornadoes or baseball sized hail is Tail of the Dragon/Nashville/Memphis/Oklahoma City/Santa Fe then up through Colorado and Wyoming. It will be an adventure for sure.

Use the Greer SC PCD for all the family BMW purchases. Never had an issue getting home to NC. The center provided everything necessary.
