I know that the MPE wasn't available before.
Call your SAs if you're interested.
Damn. Almost $7500 for the exhaust.

I paid $5900 for mine shipped, if anyone is interested PM me and I'll tell you where to go to buy it.

Since you can't lease this car, it's seems stupid to pay BMW another $1500 just to install it at the port.

True. I can probably get it for cheaper than 5900 with my supplier, but I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of ordering, storing and then installing the exhaust . I don’t have a trustworthy shop close to me, plus it’ll come with the 4 year new car BMW warranty, and will be on the Monroney.

On the other hand, if I were to lease it, I wouldn’t bother with mods at all.

I assume customer doesn’t receive OEM exhaust system? If not, would be nice to get a credit for the OEM exhaust against the purchase of the port installed titanium unit. I know most believe the OEM exhaust note is underwhelming, hence worthless, but it does have some monetary value. Wonder where all the OEM systems end up?

I'd be surprised if the customer didn't get the OEM exhaust.

When I ordered the M5C 3 years ago, I asked for the winter wheels as a port option. The port installed the winter wheels and sent the competition wheels separately via FedEx to the dealership to be sent to me.

that ONLY applies for the wheels since you are purchasing an EXTRA sett of wheels, anything you get port installed, they scrap the stock part as in literally destroy it.

they scrap all the stock parts, as in literally destroy them, which is 1 reason they cost more to port install, second you are technically paying for labor (just not out of pocket as a separate expense) and third you're paying for the price of the exhaust. so no, you don't get a credit for anything port installed. people generally do it on leases since they can residualize it and only pay say half the cost by the end of the lease instead of full price then having the headache of uninstalling the parts, or if you're like me you want a good warranty for the parts and labor and if they screw anything up they're responsible to fix it since the car isn't even mine yet If you have a friend at the dealership you can request a printout for the accessory sheet it'll show dealer net parts dealer net labor and dealer net billing aka what the invoice cost for everything.

Anyone else's car sitting at the port in Maryland? My dealer has limited info. It was supposed to be delivered last weekend…

My CS sat there for 3 weeks. Waiting on two recalls.
