So I don’t want to raise anyone’s hopes too much including my own, however, I spoke to my competent go to parts guy and he said these keys are on back order but the two key distribution locations in the states are receiving fairly large shipments on the 11th and 16th of june. Hopefully fulfilling these stop sales and getting us our cars!!

Thanks for your update - really appreciate it. Can you (or anyone else) explain on a basic level what the issue is? It sounds as though there's a key fob replacement issue, but also a programming issue within the vehicle, for the new key fobs to arm the motion sensor when the vehicle is locked?

I know literally what the bulletin shows. No programming to the vehicle will be done as a result

My SA just called me and said the keys should be there and swapped out on Monday. I’m in NJ too.

So as an update, my stop sale key campaign was completed yesterday. Not sure how long it’s going to take to get on a carrier to the dealer as I had some m performance options selected but it shouldn’t take long. It’s been at the vpc for a week. I would encourage everyone to pimp their salesman for an update and maybe even try to harass the vpc…

Looks like my car is heading to the dealer and I should be able to pick up by tuesday!
