My car’s status is now back to “in transit” so presumably on its way to dealership from VPC.
Haven’t heard whether that means the VPC received new keys, or if the dealership has to deal with it. Anybody else seen a change in status? |

Over here on the M5 site to check on your status updates on shipping.
My 540ix is on the boat (M/V Niagara Highway) with an ETA of June 16th in Brunswick. but I confirmed with my dealer and Genius that there is a recall for "Retrofit Receiver Audio Module" which is placing a stop delivery on the car. Dealership didn't know if this would be completed at VPC in Brunswick or at dealership nor did he have an answer on the FOB replacements. What is everyone else hearing? |

I’m now at dealership for final inspection. Believe the VPC swapped out the keys.
Sounds like this should be a relatively quick fix for most if not all. Don’t despair - this will get done quickly |

When did you car arrive in port? Mine landed on 5/25 in NJ. Trying to estimate the overall timeframe. |

Would expect that they resolve this quickly from here on since they’ve spooled up the supply chain to get the keys replaced. |

I hear you. I'll keep the board updated, based on what my dealer tells me. My guess is that everyone is roughly in the same boat, based on whenever the remotes get to the US.

I went through Dan at Next level brokers for my vehicle purchase, but it was through BMW of SPRINGFIELD.
Called over there yesterday to see if anyone could shed some light as to the status of my car, and as soon as they found out I went through a broker the receptionist answering the phone said "call the broker". Wouldn't even patch me through to a sales associate. "They're all busy at the moment". I couldn't believe how rude she was being. A customer purchases a 140k + vehicle and she won't patch me through to someone at the dealership I'm supposed to be picking up the car from? I finally asked her again , " can you please patch me through to a associate or a manager or someone?" She literally clipped me off mid request and patched me through to a voice-mail. " It's been 24 hours . No reply.... What the actual f$%^^&? |

That is absolutely ridiculous! I would find a way to report that to someone at BMW, and I’m not one to report bad business practices. |
