This is also a big leap on the from the M3/M4 CS, lots of weight savings, big performance number increase, new interior etc.

600+. I don't think 450 of a car that costs this much money is really rare. Its a tough sell.
But if reviews come back that its pretty super special, i think its going to sell out quickly from that point on (similar to what happened with the M2 CS). |

could very well be. time will tell. it does have one thing that looks like future cars wont have, which is a v8.. so.. that should help the value not fall off a cliff. but again, all speculation. I'm just curious how many m3 m4 cs's were made, becuase i remember dealers were having a fire sale with those things. Let's see if history repeats itself. |

My guess is that values of the M5CS will tank for the first 5 years. Then they will stabilize and then after 15+ years they will start to go up.
I don't think a legitimate comparison to the M3CS can be made because BMW didn't allow leasing the M3CS when it first came out and that really hurt sales. As for total number of units... BMW made 1,200 M3CS for global distribution. About 600 came to the US. 200 were painted San Marino Blue.

Any NY/NJ dealers have any available allocations? Either July or September allocation is fine. Thanks in advance!

We put it in order bank and they just gave us an allocation after three weeks of waiting for Sept, 38th week.
I'm sure they will be passing out more. |
