2021 M5C Order Placed for PCD

Placed my order earlier this week. Currently scheduled for production in Week 10. If everything goes to plan, I should be taking delivery in South Carolina sometime in late April or early May.

Brands Hatch Grey - Tartufo Full Leather - Aluminum Dark Carbon Structure
Competition Package w/ 789M
Driving Assistance Plus, Executive, and M Driver's Packages
M Carbon Ceramic Brakes
M Performance Exhaust, Rear Diffuser, and Rear Spoiler Pro

I was able to negotiate 8% off MSRP and base MF (.00086), plus incentives ($750 loyalty) and feel as though I got a decent deal with minimal effort.

Now I just need to figure out if I'm going to let go of my 2018 F80...

Congrats! That's a nicely equipped M5! Nice you got the tartufo full merino Leather. I ordered mine with the regular black full merino. I also got 8% off MSRP which I think is a very good deal. Now the wait.

I might see you there. Just placed my order last week for my MBB M5 for PCD delivery. Still haven't figured out what week production, but my order was accepted for production! Edit: Looks like my car just started production!

That looks like a really nice build. I have a Donnington Grey with Turtufo and dark aluminum on order. It arrived at the port in Germany today and is waiting to get on a ship.

I recently learned that the M Performance Rear Spoiler Pro forces the option of M Performance Front Splitter. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Nice build. I have an Alpine White with black interior M5C currently on vessel crossing the Atlantic. Should be in port in NJ by Feb 8. Super excited.

Yes, I am going through this issue as we speak. Pretty annoying as I don't want to spent $2,920 on the front splitter. I guess the only way around this would be to order the spoiler through the dealership and have it installed before I take delivery. Only problem I can see is that the spoiler wouldn't residualize if not installed at port. Ugh.

Pretty annoying that they would force the option on something that is port-installed and completely unrelated.

Strange, i ordered the pro spoiler without the splitter no issue. Then again, when i placed the order the splitter wasn't available and i wanted it. Now that pricing came out im good since i thought it was ridiculously priced.

The spoiler will not be residualized if you have the dealer install.

Agreed. It doesn't make sense. I called BMW NA yesterday and they said since it's a port installed accessory they have zero insight as to why this was the case. #helpful

What are you going to do? Purchase separately and have dealer install?

Yeah if it requires the front splitter to be selected, and you don't want it, it's not a good deal to get it port installed.

Only recourse would be to buy it separately and get it installed at dealer (would have to pay for labor).

I'll probably end up buying the spoiler separate and doing the install myself. The install should be a cake walk in comparison to the M Performance HAS that I have on order and plan to DIY.

Super annoying; ran into the same issue on my build last week. My dealer was cool enough to install the spoiler for the $800 odd dollars MSRP and no labor no labor when the car comes in.

Today is 30 days post order and my status has flipped to "Production Begins". Looks like I'm on track for completion of production in week 10.

My car completed production yesterday and is currently on the train to port.

M Performance Height Adjustable Suspension arrived last week. I'm also expecting a set of 863M wheels on Thursday.

Can't wait for PCD and to get her home for the suspension and wheel install.

Nice! So about 2 weeks from production start to finish. Quick transition to the train as well. Congrats!

Tracking site updated to "In Transit" this morning. After a quick call to the Genius line, I've learned that my car departed Bremerhaven on 3/19 aboard the Niagara Highway. It's due in Charleston on 4/6 and will arrive at the VPC on 4/7.

Edit: I just received the word from my CA that I am scheduled for delivery on May 6th.
