I don't think there are programs for the 2019s yet, most dealers would be estimating at this point.

I have taken my E39 and F10 M5's to the track and being able to go above 155 mph does come in handy. Also, having the M Driver's package will be good for resale value.

That's awesome news; week 32 build for me so hopefully it goes into production earlier as well.

Going for comp package, but need to time mine for after the New Year.
Allocation strategy is tough, so many unknowns - idea now is to get on list for allocation around October, receive one in December for a March delivery.

Not sure where to find the status code. From Track My BMW on the BMWUSA website, the third bubble is highlighted and below its says "Production Begins" and that the car has entered into the production queue. Last edited by gianboy; 06-27-2018 at 08:54 AM.. |

Status code has now been updated to say that it is Awaiting Carrier Assignment, meaning that it has been built and passed the quality check and is waiting to leave the factory for shipment. Well ahead of the original week 29 build date.

Congrats, assuming you got the confirmation from the dealer! Did you order through Austin or South Austin dealer? Thanks, B B |

With that said I was approached through Bimmerpost by an actual salesman who hustles and gets things done (Nick McNevin) @ Richmond BMW. I've placed order with him and my build spec has been accepted. No word on delivery date but we're thinking Sep. Build as follows - M5 Comp Fashion Gray Dark Carbon Trim Tartufo Interior (might change to black before it goes into production) Exec Pkg Carbon Roof B&W Sound Drivers Assist Car will be transported to me here in Austin after ceramic coating is done in Richmond and they'll be taking my F80 back with them on trade. We've agreed @ MSRP but I'm hoping I can get the ceramic coating thrown in as added bonus. $140k+ after taxes. What a terrible choice, but I'm not losing sleep over it - Jonathan |

Brand new to the forum here. Just received my allocation for a 2019 BMW M5! I am completely new to the BMW brand, but I am very excited for this car. I have ordered Marina Bay Blue metallic exterior color with Silverstone Full Merino Leather. I elected not to order to competition package since it will be my daily driver and I live in the midwest where snow will be a daily winter occurrence. This forum has been extremely helpful in my decision making process with the options I selected. Sounds like I will have an October build with a December delivery date. Thanks for all of the help this forum has already been in helping with my selection.
