Launch control Manual
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com DSC totally off.. gear is set to S3 manual .. maximum throttle .. but yet when i press fully on the brake and start pressing on the pedal. The car feels pretty tough which afraid me from damaging it. And i couldn't find a manual video on how to run the LC by steps. If someone is able to upload such video that'll be much appreciated. Thank you a lot.

Did you set the settings as an M1 or M2 button? Not sure if necessary but I put everything on Sport Plus, DSC off, and S3 for M2.
Make sure you've been driving for 10+ min and the car is warm. Hit M2 twice - have to hit it twice because DSC is off. From a complete stop, press down on brake, down on gas, you'll see a message for launch control, release brake, and take off. Even though you're on S3, you won't need to manually shift. My first attempt at it got me 0-60 in 2.95s. Enjoy!

I recall that you have to drive the car at least 6 or 7 miles, which screwed me out of my first attempt. I have yet to try again, but intend to soon. Tough to find the right spot, I have to go out of the way for it.

Temporary: Just start using paddle shifters without touching the gear lever and it will change to manual but temporarily. After sometime it will go back to auto Permanent: While in drive, move the shifter to the right to engage full manual mode, Moving the shifter to right again will disengage manual Mode. Thanks

I haven't tried in different modes but for me this works every time.
Turn on M2 Make sure your M2 setting has DSC off. Find a safe place and come to a complete stop. Tap your gear shit to the right so it goes into manual mode. Press the brake firmly and hold while pressing the gas to the floor firmly. You will see the launch control engage by a small flag appearing in the instrument cluster near the bottom middle. Once flag appears release the brake pedal and hold on. So if you have your car in M2 all you need to do each time is stop, tap gear shift to the right to switch to manual. Press brake and gas to the floor, launch activates and release brake. Bam you are off. Even though the car is in manual, it's not necessary to shift, it will shift automatically regardless when you are launching. So don't try and shift or it will disengage. I attached my M2 settings.
