no I don't have tune so I cant speak on that I went from 91 octane to 93 plus the inlet so I feel a decent difference even stock

Yes but that could be the increase in octane doing it. Did you by any chance try the inlet vs stock on same octane?

Curious to hear more about this. On the front page it seems Dinan is saying the intake part only starts increasing power on big power built m5s that are at 1000hp+ yet the inlets alone make some even on stock/stage1-2 m5s. Also really like that they make turbos more efficient and spool faster+increased throttle response.

Did you notice a change when going from inlets alone to inlets+intake setup?
I actually did yes, posting my review in just a bit.

Sensor taps for externally logging data with some Motec tools during testing. Pressure and/or temperature in most cases. Helps us isolate exactly where in the system changes that can affect performance occur so we can strive to resolve them. There another 2 not shown closer to the turbo inlet and then a few on the turbo and outlet as well.

I actually did try it on the 93 octane with the inlets installed and not before and after. and I recorded me doing a 60-130 before and after gonna use a draggy as well the inlet for sure helped throttle response the power increase wasn't something mosnteorus a little bit

Do the 2020 and up M550's with the upgraded power package qualify ?
Maybe not ? Is it just the way the 550's have the engine mounted vs the M5 even though its the same motor ? I would love to have a bolt on system like this !

Do not. The M5 and the M550i utilize different motors (S63 vs N63). While related they are quite a bit different and the engine bay layout between the two is very dissimilar. The M550i bay simply doesn't have enough room to do an intake like this -- the stock boxes are basically hydroformed to the rear side of the engine resulting in a very awkward and small footfprint so nothing can really be doen there. The best you would be able to hope for on a M550i in the intake department is an open front mounted intake system or higher flower drop in filters.

Did install of Dinan intake over weekend and wanted to share some photos to show some comparison to factory inlets. The install was fairly easy. I had difficulty with getting the retainer ring off the first turbo but was easier on second. Overall build quality is excellent. Happy to see that Dinan matched the carbon weave direction with OEM carbon engine cover. They look very similar.

I mostly got the inlet pipes for more turbo sounds. The car is already stupid fast and I didn't need more power just more sounds. Turbo sounds much better under load but with normal driving you hardly notice a difference other then slightly better engine response. I'll probably get the full carbon intake eventually to finish the look.

We do not offer international shipping directly from the website. However, you can call in and place an international order by phone if desired. Alternatively, and probably easier, you can order through any number of online etailers that carry the Dinan product line and do ship internationally through their site.

Does not. Engine bays are quite different between the the F90 and F95/F96.

Any thoughts on getting any Dinan resellers in Europe?

There are a handful -- UK/Poland/Norway/Russia/Switzerland are the ones I can think of offhand --- but they definitely aren't wide ranging by any means. Alternatively, stuff for international consumption can be purchased through any number of etailers that ship globally.

The only reseller i saw in EU was in Poland.
If they are in the EU you don't get any import tax if your own country is in the Union.
Anyway i ordered the Dinan Has kit from ind in the US and its shipped and should be here soon.

Installed inlets yesterday. Pretty straightforward plug and play. Only annoying part was getting the rubber bellows part from the inlet side to fully wrap onto the stock air intake box. was only to only get it slightly on (install guide says 1/2” should be sufficient). so hoping with the clamp it won’t pop off at some point.

Haven't noticed a huge difference in feel or sound yet but I haven't pushed the car either. I have DPs so the turbo whistle was already prominent even with the stock intake system.
