As a bunch of us LCI M550i owners know, the launch control is screwed untill BMW update it this summer. Launches at 2k rpm with 0 boost. Once that is fixed it should put down the same times as 2020 pre LCI cars with 523hp motor.

On the topic of weight ( this is more of a question than a statement.) With no options why wouldn't the M550i be the lightest car. In Australia they list 'pure' as a specification grade aka poverty spec @ 1823kg

5 mph difference in trap speed but only a .1 second difference at the end? Stock F90 holding it down, not bad.

for sure!

i tried desperately to get into the 10's. But it had nothing left. My next option may be later in the year with cooler temps, and 1/4 tank of gas..
