Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I did have a last few days wobble, a colleague has a X5M so took it for a few test drives. With two children and golf clubs, I could really see the practicality advantages of the X5M, plus it's really nice inside, the temp cup holders, nicer finish etc. I got in and was like, hmm, we have a problem Houston, this is nice! That was until I drove it in the city! OMG, the ride quality was awful on UK inner city roads, I mean as bad, if not worse than my 19 E63S AMG! Crashy is the only way to describe it. I had the M5C out for a 4 day test drive and it was considerably softer in comfort. I wonder if that has anything to do with getting the M8 dampners? Anyway, as much as I liked the X5M to look at both inside and out and really liked the boot space, there was no contest in terms of driving experience both comfort and dynamics. Roll on October! |
