So good news, order is in for M5C, MBB with lights pack, tech and comfort pack and gone dangerous with the piano place inlay!

I did have a last few days wobble, a colleague has a X5M so took it for a few test drives.

With two children and golf clubs, I could really see the practicality advantages of the X5M, plus it's really nice inside, the temp cup holders, nicer finish etc.

I got in and was like, hmm, we have a problem Houston, this is nice!

That was until I drove it in the city! OMG, the ride quality was awful on UK inner city roads, I mean as bad, if not worse than my 19 E63S AMG! Crashy is the only way to describe it.

I had the M5C out for a 4 day test drive and it was considerably softer in comfort. I wonder if that has anything to do with getting the M8 dampners?

Anyway, as much as I liked the X5M to look at both inside and out and really liked the boot space, there was no contest in terms of driving experience both comfort and dynamics.
