How many overall and how many expected in the USA?

Rumor is that there are going to be 440 units for the US, but I haven't seen that actually confirmed anywhere.

Original production slots were July and November, but now I've seen at least one forum member say that they got a January build date, so who knows how many will actually be made.

My SA located in Baltimore said 350 units to the US as of last week. I have November build slot. Not sure about Jan.

About your color choice, if you are a car collector and the M5 CS will be one of many cars that sits in a garage and is never driven then I say get green. If you intend it for daily driving, the green matte paint will eventually get damaged and be hard to match with a re- paint so then I would get Brands Hatch metallic with the gold brake calipers.

My thoughts are similar however I plan on getting Xpel Stealth on the entire car. Therefore Green should be ok. Alternatively, the PPF will convert the hatch metallic to a matte frozen look therefore that would save me 5k and get me a similar frozen look. I keep mulling over if the green is worth the extra 5K

Gray with yellow will work better together. The green is beautiful but the red calipers will look bad with it in my opinion.

It's pretty much all personal preference at this point. I originally spec'd BHG metallic with the yellow calipers, but then switched to red. I think that the red will look better with the red interior accents.

Had they allowed a metallic version of the green (and not a frozen one) I would have done green with yellow calipers.

Decided (for now) on frozen BHG with yellow calipers. I love BRG on porsches but not sure if I can live with and daily drive a big green M5 sedan in my small town. Plan on getting the full front covered with PPF stealth.

What tires come with the ‘standard’ non Corsa option? Since mine is a November build, I am probably going to get it in Feb-March. Hoping the standard tire option is the Michelin PS4S.

Any update on production numbers. Some dealers I have called, now that they got their first cars, are uncertain if they will get a second one. Is anybody seeing ADM's? Most dealers I called are at MSRP with one that claimed they sold theirs for $15k over.

All dealers were given their full year of allocations all at the same time. I think it was around April.

The dealer I got mine from got 2 other allocations for later production months. They have requested a 4th allocation, but said they are not optimistic.

call bmw genius, or ask your salesman what build week your vehicle is.

Thanks Trevor, unfortunately the Ann Arbor dealer told me the original build date was August, no additional information from them at this point. I'll try giving BMW Genius a call at some point.

thats odd, your dealer should be able to screenshot on his internal system all of the relevant info such as projected build week/actual build week, order accepted etc.

The green is beautiful, but I really wish there were more colors available(not that I could afford one anyway) but Jet black or Ferrari red would be hot against the gold accents

The wheels are more of a champagne/beige color. Not as gold as I expected.

I believe they will match this. The gold calipers with these wheels look better in person. I ordered my m5cs in this setup.
