So this happened!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I went toe to toe with a pheasant at 80 mph! The windscreen and bird both came off bad! What a nightmare trying to get a new OEM screen! Having to be ordered! Scary stuff though, but luckily all ok, other than the bird sadly.

Luckily no, but it was a shock, lots of little bits of glass all over me and had to navigate to safety with kids in car without being able to see!

I hit a turkey at similar speed, left a perfect inprint of his body, and head in the windshield. Look like an art project in glass. My windshield guy tried to cut it out to save it looked so cool but windshield was decimated

The important thing is everyone in the car is safe and sound. Car can be repaired and/or replaced.

Damn, that must have been quite a shocking impact at that speed, happy to hear you were able to remain calm and steer the car to safety.
All the best !

Can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone's best wishes. This last 2 years has had so many negatives but you guys just show there is still some good in this world! Thank you

PS. Still no date for a new windscreen, my goodness this is hard, they have stuck me in a Kia!
