Anyone selling a M Performance Exhaust

I decided I want one, but it's killing me to pay for one new when I lease my car. Anyone selling one at a reasonable price?

Leasing is the time to get one.

I bought my car then decided I wanted the exhaust, big mistake. I can’t even find one for sale and BMW said they don’t know how long it would take for an ordered one to show up. Get it before like adeuel said.

when you get it while leasing, you're residualizing the cost, only paying about 45% of the retail value.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but are you even able to find one available right now for purchase?

Have you tried just removing 2nd cats and resonators and add x pipe? Hell of a lot cheaper, reversible, and retain use of flaps. Everyone who's done it loves it. Just a thought.

I’m assuming BMW would try to screw me on warranty if I did this or no?

Warranty on your exhaust? What kind of warranty claim to your exhaust do you imagine making?

Good point, I don’t know, the SA just freaked me out when I mentioned getting an Akrapovic exhaust telling me BMW could and probably would deny future warranty claims and I wasn’t sure how far reaching it was.

Oh and another question, if I delete the 2nd cats, will it throw codes at me I’ll have to map out?

The other question that I have is will it diminish the power because it will reduce the back pressure. Whenever people try to modify the exhaust they have to keep in mind that they could throw off the pressure of the system which usually leads to less torque.

They cannot deny you warranty on the entire vehicle. Only can deny whatever was caused by the exhaust.

Haha ya they always do that. No exhaust will cause damage to your car. It's a passive system. Maybe if they damaged your valves during install etc would there be a claim they could deny. Or if a mount point failed etc.

And no, second cats don't have any sensors. It shouldn't even be an issue with smog but I've never had one personally done as Im registered in a red blooded American state. 😆

There is still plenty of back pressure. Going straight pipe could be an issue but simply removing resonators and 2nd cats won't affect the turbos negatively.
