Must of had a chip that you didn't notice. Is it hot where you are? Heated garage?

No heated Garage and it was fine when I put it in 4 days ago.

It just happens. car glass is so prone to chips and cracks, unfortunately. Here in the south the hot sun will cause a small chip to turn into a crack from expanding and contracting with temps.

Had it happen twice for no reason.
535d many years ago. Driving down the road and the rear screen let go. Wow that made me jump. my Camper van, a few months ago sitting round the back of my house. One day fine next day 14" crack.

Maybe it has to do with different materials expanding/retracting at different rates (Carbon fibre roof, vs A-pillars + bottom support) Or different rigidity of different materials. Carbon roof probably not much prone to flexing and sends this extra energy to the glass.
