Financing options

Hey there, Potentially purchasing an M5C and looking at options for financing. Probably gonna do a 50-50 split cash and financing. BMW’s rate is roughly 6.99%. Any thoughts on better options?

Try PenFed. I’ve used them to purchase several cars in the past. They always had the lowest rates and best terms.

Try a credit union and see what kind of rate they can give you for the M5C your looking at, they tend to do better than the Dealership's lenders they work with.

Like my current car is financed through the captive manufacturer, rate is decent however I know I probably could've secured a better rate with my credit union.

For my M5 I'm going to definitely go through my credit union.

I posted this in a similar thread.

I got around that rate from PSECU. They sent a blank check and didn't have to deal with the dealers financing negotiation when I bought the car. I set the purchase price, then moved on to telling them how i would pay. Roughly 50% "cash" the rest would be by the check. Took under an hour at the dealership, and 15 mins to apply at PSECU website, took them about a week to send the packet which includes the check and contract you would bring to the dealer.

6.99% is pretty standard these days. What are you hoping for?

My pre-approved is 6.36, but the standard everywhere else is 6.99 as of today.

6.99% is pretty standard nowadays...anything better is no brainer.

Go for it and congrats on the potential new purchase
