Sure. Small extra thing is once you park in the garage or outside whatever, don't lock your car, geo back to it, and open door again than close them it'll turn everything back on and it will remain of for the next several mins unless you lock it.

That's curious. This is precisely how my 2021 model LCI works.
I'm 100% sure that it turns off when I open the door with the engine off, since I use it this way everyday. I wonder if there's a difference between European and US models as goes this feature...? |

I was wondering if CarPlay had anything to do with this not working perhaps. Idk. I just know it never turns off. I even have it coded to do so lol.

This issue is even worse than I thought.
Listen to this sequence of events. Let’s say that I am listening to FM radio during my drive, but I turn it off by pressing the volume knob. I then park the car, shut it off and exit. When I open the door, the radio turns ON. It does not matter how long the radio was on or off during the drive. I could have been driving for 20 minutes with no radio, but turn off the car and open the door, the radio turns ON. I can even press the volume knob to turn it back off, but 2 seconds later it just turns on again. The only choices to get the radio to stay off are: 1. Lock the car 2. Change the source to something else, like car play. So, here is a example scenario. I drive to the golf course without the radio playing. Park the car, shut down and open the door. Radio turns back on. I lean back into the car and press audio power. Radio shits off. I start to walk to the trunk to get my clubs, radio turns back on. I have to go back to the car and change source. Then back to the trunk to unload clubs. So annoying. |

Is there a way to get the radio to switch off when the drivers door opens and the passenger doesn’t open their door? It bugs me that the radio stays on until the passenger opens their door.

When you stop, put the car in park then take your foot off the brake before turning off. If you turn the car off while your foot is still on the brake, things stay on. If your foot is off the brake, things turn off when the door is opened

In my car the radio can be turned off while driving. Park. Shut off car. Open door and exit. Close door. Radio turns on when door is closed. |

My head hurts reading all this. I cleaned the car today (all 3 of the cars actually as she's away for 10 days) for only the 2nd time since she just bought it and, yep, stupid radio stayed on while I left the car with the key in my pocket. Dumb, dumb feature but hey, cars are all crazy now with dumb features. This is just another one... I can barely figure out features on my 911 14 months after getting it. It's so complicated, as is everything in life. I love the look of both of these cars though and in time, will figure it all out, or not. Life is short, I ain't sweating it too hard.
